The Screaming Ant is a short film festival dedicated to celebrating talented filmmakers and helping them gain exposure for their work.

The festival will take place online. Five films from each category will be chosen as finalists. They will be screened on the website from October 1st to October 31st, 2010.

AWARDS

FEATURED FILMMAKER

Five awards - one winner in each category. Each recipient of the Featured Filmmaker Award will be interviewed and featured on the website.

BEST SOUND DESIGN

Presented to the film with the best sound design. The recipient will receive 3 hours foley / mixing at Silver Sound - a premier, boutique post-production sound studio.

GRAND JURY PRIZE

One film will be selected by a jury of celebrated film industry professionals as 'Best of Festival'. This award will be accompanied by a $500 cash prize.
